How to make fashion of the future environmentally sound
What can politics, fashion design and the textile industry contribute to sustainability?
As part of Berlin Fashion Week, the German Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMU) organized a panel discussion on the question of how fashion can be designed to better meet the need for an environmentally friendly future. The Beneficial Design Institute was invited to accompany the topic with a curated exhibition. Using particularly successful examples of innovative, sustainable and well-designed fashion, we were able to show how attractive and feasible sustainability in fashion is and where it can lead in the context of circularity.
